Guest Book, Wish Bowl or Signature Frame? I'm torn

I haven't seen a guest book that I'm really inlove with. I love the wish bowl idea though, but then again, I like the frames where your guests sign around your picture. This is something we totally forgot about!

Ive seen a couple of guestbooks...but they arent the norm. They are blank pages with pictures of the bride and groom over the years on the pages in different places...corner, middle, off to the side...but you have to have them made.

We are going to do a couple of signature frames...but some of our favorite pics in them and have people sign which ever one they want...there wil be 3-4 and after the wedding we will put our wedding pictures in the frames

So obviously you know my choice

I love the idea of a wish bowl, but we got a guest book bc we are travelling. But I think they are all great ideas!

We are going to go with the signature frame because it is the only one that I think we can actually get some use out of because we can hang it up I know me and a traditional guestboook would just collect dust somewhere in a drawer and I probaly would never look at it and the same thing for the wish bowl notes, I'd probably toss them during one of my cleaning fitts, I hate clutter.

We are doing a wish bowl. Hopefully I will order a wish book to keep with all the other memories.

I don't know if I worded it right, but it's either a plate, or a ceramic frame, with your picture in it, and all of your guests sign their names around your picture. Basicly a keepsake thing.

we are doing the guestbook, i like the idea of it being our personal keepsake.

IMO, the guest book and wish bowl are sweet ideas, but I feel that they'd just end up collecting dust somewhere!

here's the link.... they can decorate the plate however you want, and there are lots of different platters to choose from!

I have ordered a large signature frame from Pottery Barn. I thought it was a nice idea and something that I can look at for years, vs. a book that I would end up putting away somewhere.

We had a frame and love it. We wil put it in a special place in our new home!

1) I voted wish bowl b/c I might want to make my own wedding day scrapbook with pics from the day and I can put the little note cards next to the pics of people who wrote them. (Very corny, I apologize!)

2) A pair of my good friends did the signed pic thing and had it framed and hung it in their living room. The pic is HUGE and it looks a bit self-centered and overbearing. Find a size that is readable but will look classy in your home.

3) your new avatar pic is ADORABLE!! I can't take it!

I like the wish bowl Mel. I'm not 100% sure why, but I just do!

ETA: I know why.........you can reuse the bowl in the house and I'm all for multi-use things!
