When you give in the final head count, are the bride and groom included? Do you have to pay for the bride/groom's meals or are they kinda thrown in?
This is something I never considered until today, when one of FH friends mentioned that we shouldn't have to pay for our meals.
Has anybody discussed this with their reception hall?

You gave me something to think about got to ask my hall about our meals( ) they should be free or maybe they free if you fill you hall requirements

Interesting. If you ask I bet they'd give it to you. However I have never known of anybody asking. Let us know if you do ask and what happens. Curious.

I do believe this includes you. Unfortunately even though we're the important ones, we're still a number in how many people they need to know to feed!

I have 2 friends who got married and forgot to count themselfs. They had to go back the day before and pay. You would think you where free?? But then again what is free when planning a wedding on LI

I asked my hall this question and they said we are not free - we have to count ourselves into the final headcount!

At our hall we were not free. We were included in the final count.

Thats a good question. I just assumed they threw in the bride and grooms meal, but I could be completely wrong
