Ok so our guest list is at about 262 right now, and even though I know everyone is not going to respond yes, I am not sure what I should do about my cousins....I have about 15 cousins ages 8-16 and I am not sure that I want to invite them and make the list even bigger......does anyone else have this issue or should I just invite them??

I only have 8 in this age range (my range though is 13-18) and I invited them. I'm close with 3 of them (one told me she would never speak to me again if she wasn't invited) so I had to invite the cousins on the other side as well.
If you are close with them, I would invite them.

I had that problem. I decided on only inviting the cousins above age 17/18 - the others are old enough to stay at the hotel and act as baby sitters for the younger ones.

I invited The 'X' Family and figured the parents could make the call. I coun't not invite them but I was certainly not sending them their own invite (I had read that anybody over 13 should get their own??)

I sent invites to people over 18. Haven't heard about the over 13 did. I hope I didn't commit and ettiquette no no.

What is your minimum? If 25% of the people invited said no, would you still make it?
Also, find out if children under 12 get a discounted price, that might make a difference for you.
We had a kid table and it turned out great. They had a wonderful time, and we did with them too. At one point, they were the only ones on the dance floor and got other people dancing.

I have about 15 cousins between those ages as well. I invited them, it wouldn't be right not to especially since they are first cousins and we all grew up around each other.

My cutoff is 10 years old. And for me that's a comprimise. I origninally wanted no one under the age of 16 at our wedding but FH flipped out. The way I look at it is I'd rather cut children (who I'm paying all this money for them to eat chicken fingers and french fried.... i don't think so!) or cut friends... i'd rather cut the kids

Yes actually I do...leanora is engaged and she is moving to floridia and all her kids are now married and her oldest son just had a baby....
