I finally got FH to sit down last night and work on the guest list w/ me...without asking our parents who they want to invite, we have about 130 on the list (FH is so funny...he was convinced he didn't have more than 10 people to invite; he ended up with 60!)
How large is everyone's guest list?

I think we would be between 150-175, but 150 is all we are inviting.

My mom & I have a list from our side and it is about 75 people - we are only inviting out to first cousins. This number also includes some of our friends. I asking FH mom to work on her guestlist last week and still have not heard from her....I am getting worried she is inviting the entire world!!! FH & I don't want to invite more than 150-160 tops. But I have a feeling my FMIL is going to put our numbers over the edge!!!

our total list... with kids included - comes to about 105. We won't have more than 75 though.

Our list is currently at 297. Fh wants to cut it down because we cannot afford to have more than 220 (our minimum is 200) come. I keep telling him that there are people who will not come. I have over seas and out of state relatives who definitely will not come even though they 'have to be' invited.

Right now our guest list is at 230. But we are hoping to invite around 200. Our minimum is 160.

i just realized yesterday that we're at around 285! eek
our min is 175... but we already know that a lot aren't coming (live overseas, etc)
i think we'll have to up our minimum though!

I have this little formula: (I found on one of the wedding websites)
How many Guest Will Attend
Formula:
# guests invited x .66 x 1.15 = Total # of Guest who will attend
168 x .66 = 110.88
110.88 x 1.15 = 127.42 (128 guest will attend)

Me & FH - 82 FH family & family friends - 62 My family & family friends - 60
It just happened to turn out that way, but I'm glad one family isn't inviting significantly more than the other. But we're not even inviting my first cousins - that would add 60 people to the list! I'm only inviting the few that I actually grew up with.

Please don't ask this question, your reminding me how much $$ we have to come up w/to feed all these people. FH has a huge family and we have tons of friends, all my family lives in Ireland (I was born there) and only some can afford to come but our guest list is about 425 and we are hoping for no more then 300 people that attend.

My mom put a limit of 165 on the list. FIL's have 50 my mom has 60-70 and the rest are ours.

i have 202 people so far but 30 are definite NOs since they are in italy
