Guest list

I know there is a percentage, but if we want 150 guest what is the number to invite?

20% of people on average dont come. So you want to invite 180 to get 150 HTH

I've heard there is a 10% attrition rate. So I don't think I would invite as many as 180. I might do 165-170, or you could invite whoever you want, and then have a B list to make up the difference.

IMO I wouldnt rely on any number to be 'it'. The way we did it was we just made a guest list with every possible person we'd want to invite. Then we went with a low minimum as to avoid any issues with not meeting it. Then we figured if it was too high we'd cut...but things worked out well. for instance...my list is at 290 and my min (which is paid in full ) is 200. I would NOT relay on a percentage ever...it is common but everyone is different!

we are inviting about 200 and expecting 150 to show. You have to take into account how many out of town ppl you are inviting that you know just won't show up. we went through our list one by one and did it that way.

It depends on if you have a lot of OOT guests....we dont have too many...I invited 268 and have 8 no's so far! So for me the 20% rule didnt apply lol...

We are inviting 250, in my dreams we would get right to 200 but I can deal with 215/220.
But about 40% of my peeps are from out of town.

If you want to 150 to actually come then you should invite like 30 more poeple ... usually 30 ppl is the % that doesnt show up

ITA! # of OOTer's will def make or break your list.... i have close to none so im expecting most to come
