Guest List

So this weekend I finally got FH's full guest list from his mom. It was handwritten, so last night I was typing it up in excel so that I could get a better count along with my list count. Our final count as last night is 210 . FH wanted to see this and then he started freaking out about what if everyone says yes that they are coming-our minimum is 150.

Then 15 miniutes later, he says that he wants to invite more people-I don't know what I'm going to do with him

I think 210 for a minimum of 150 is a good number. I've heard the average is to assume around 20% no's. Right now our guest list is around 265 and our minimum is 200. I may have to do a little cutting here and there, or wait to send out the B-listers.

The guest list is more of his side then mine, I don't have that much family coming, its more friends on my side. So, he realized that he didn't invite any of his racing friends and now he wants to include them tooo-which I don't care-as long as he is happy with it. He just cracks me up with this stuff

Seriously he is too funny and explaining to him that people will say no they are not coming was hilarious-he just was not understanding that. I think I should start taping some of our conversations. Only people that know us would understand

ugggh fh and i had an argument over the guestlist! our families are both big and we really want to invite our friends too its tough good luck

I don't think 210 is too bad, but adding more people will definitely increase your actual number of guests.

honestly i think you are fine with the guest list, i woudn't worry about being totally over your minimum because i have heard that there has been more and more 'no's' lately from the economy, etc.

out guest list is about 210 and our minimum is 165... I am not going to worry about it. If I am under I am just going to ask the RH to throw some extras in....

Our minimum is 110, and our guest list is 185 or so, but FHs family is from FL and we don't think a lot of them will show. SO, we're just inviting everyone and we'll see what happens.

You should be inviting around 190 -200 for a 150 min so you should be find. 170 won't be major
