Is anyone else having a really hard time cutting down the guest list? Mine keeps growing and growing! I am up to 284 people! My parents are only paying for 200! I wish I could elope!!
Yes! At first FH only had a small list but now he keeps adding people and his mom has added at least 20 - ive added two lol. We are about 50 over =(

Yes we were and we switched to a destination wedding.
We only wanted 125 guest and out list grew to abt 220 before we switched. FH & I always wanted a very small wedding with family. My Dad was turning the wedding into his own personal party and it was getting out of control!!!!
We are having a co-ed bridal shower...more like a pre-reception for appx 100 @ our original RH (for those who can not make it to the ceremony)
Were using all our org dwn payments (flowers,photo, RH) towards the shower.

Mine was continuing to grow every day and FH & I finally put a stop to it once it hit 190! That was our absolute max and we had to tell our parents that we weren't allowing any more! lol.

YES! People who were on our have to invite but definitely won't come are now asking about the wedding. I really want the list at 90 but I don't see how that is going to happen.
ugh yes me too! My parents want to sit down and discuss the ever growing guest list and try to beat it down to a normal number.
