guest list addresses...

guest list addresses...

for a very organized person - compiling 300 addresses for my wedding invites is totally overwhelming me.

how did u organize yours?? did you make your parents do it?? what helped you help yourself ?

any advice for me??

I organized mine on Excel. I made columns for yes and no and for when I send invites out.

i organized them on excel and gave each a number...which corresponded with the index card with everyone's names, address and the number in the top corner. it made thank you's easier, too. i just pulled out the stack of cards and voila, in business.

i used the index cards to write out the invites and thank yous. one at a time so i didn't risk looking at the wrong address for aunt sue!

We did this for save the dates, I had my parents, FILs and FH give me the addresses for everyone on their guest list and then input them into excel.

Of course, since FH wanted to send out STDs in February, we've had a ton of people move since then!!!

Me too! I even put how each guest was related to us or how we knew them, if they were on the groom or bride's side....I went crazy!

luckily FSIL was married in 2003 and my sister in 2004, so we have pretty updated lists.

yup! i used excel, too. i had a column for the name, column for the address, and column for ' number of people in family invited' , and then a column for how many of those were actually coming ( once i started getting RSVPs back)
