Guest list and STDs

Guest list and STDs

Did you/will you have your guest list COMPLETE before you sent out STDs???

FH wants to send the STDs to those that we KNOW we are invting and then just invite those that we add later.....I TOTALLY disagree...

Opinion????

I tried to have it as complete as possible. There were a few who didnt get STDs and it didnt matter because THOSE people did not know anyone else who may have gotten one. Do the best you can but try to keep it as concise as possible. No matter what you do, you are bound to offend someone - I know and I am sure I did. Ya just can't win!

We made up our guest list and sent out the STDs to those we know we're def inviting, like family. But we didn't send one to the maybes. We sent them out really early bc we had just moved and wanted everyone to know our new address. So that worked best for us, there were only a handful of maybes that didn't get STDs.

Yes, I agree with Leslie. I tried to have it complete as possible. Also, there were a few I didn't send one to but they don't know the people who did receive one.
It's true someone always finds something to complain about. Do the best you can.

Our guest list was complete until FH's computer had a meltdown. He has until tonight to redo his guest list. We are only sending STD's to OOT guests that we KNOW are being invited. If anyone gets offended - tough. We weren't going to do STDs at all, but I thought they would be nice touch since we have so many OOT's and our wedding is on a Sunday evening, and it is a 'holiday' weekend.

We are sending STD's to the people we KNOW are coming (family, very close friends). Co-workers and the 'maybes' on our guest list aren't getting one. What they don't know won't hurt them.

That is what we are doing. The ones that are close family and friends and the others will just get invitations who are not on the STD list.

We just sent ours out, but we didn't send them to the people that are on the B list (i know that sounds terrible, but we can't afford to have everybody) So we didn't want to give people the impression that they were definitly getting invited and then later be like...oops nevermind!
