Guest List Excel Spreadsheet

I want to make the most efficient spreadsheet for my guest list- I want it to include names, guests, addresses and all other pertinent info. What is the best way to do this?

Please share

Re: Guest List Excel Spreadsheet

Just go into Excel and make a heading in each Column of the info you want to have for each guest and then make your list accordingly.

I did
last name ( to keep it alphabetical)
full name
address
# of guests estimated
RSVP (yes or no)
# of guests definate
Notes

You may also want to add a column for 'gift received' and 'thank you set'

That way you can keep track of who gave what and if you've thanked them.

I have these columns:

Sort By (put the last name here that I want the list to be sorted by)
Guest Name(s)
Address 1
Address 2
City
State
Zip
Date sent STD
E-Gift (to list what they gave me)
Date sent E-Gift Thank you

And then I’ll add columns for date mailing the Invite, Shower Gift, Shower Thank you, Wedding Gift and Wedding Thank You.

I love Excel and want to put as much info in there as possible…if you couldn’t tell.

Re: Guest List Excel Spreadsheet

That's so funny! I just made one of these today.

Each Column is as follows:

Name
Address
Phone Number
Invite Sent
Table (so I don't leave anyone out accidentally)
Gift
Thank You sent

Plus I'm color coding groups by moms friends, my friends, fh's family, fh friends..in case I can't send out all the invites in one shot.

Oh I have no idea I've never actually tried to print it yet. But you can always hide columns that you don't necessarily need to print. Or, go to printer settings and click 'fit to page.'

Also, you can use the other 'sheets' for budgets and payment info- thats what we did. It helps to have it all in one file!
