Guest List Help

I am working on the final guestlist.

Should envelopes be addressed

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
[Address]

or

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
[Address]

I always use an ampersand between titles, and spell out 'and' between names. I don't know if that's right lol, but that's what my inclination is.

i like and spelled out...i think its more formal for a wedding instead of using symbols...JMO

My mom has become the end all be all of wedding etiquette to the point its driving me NUTS!!!

Technically its supposed to be written out, there is not supposed to be any abbreviations except for Mrs., Mr. Even numbers under 100 are supposed to be written out on addresses, dates and return addresses.

Personally I like the ampersand, I think its prettier then writing out and, especially in calligraphy. But if you want proper etiquette its wrong. But we know what mine will be.

Thanks girls. I definetely am not following all the rules but since i could not decide how I like it better I decided to defer to the 'rules' for what they are worth.

No way I am writing out numbers though - that is too time consuming!!!
