Guest List Help [same as 09 board]

I am working on the guestlist.

Should envelopes be addressed

Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
[Address]

or

Mr. & Mrs. John Smith
[Address]

Thanks in advance.

Re: Guest List Help [same as 09 board]

on the outer I wrote our 'and'
its definitely more formal but not necessary....then on the inner i wrote &
so
Mr. and Mrs. John Doe

Mr. & Mrs. Doe

Re: Guest List Help [same as 09 board]

'and' seems more formal
'&' would be more of a laid back feeling

Formal would be ' and'. This is how we did ours.

I made such a big deal making notes about how to write things on the outer and inner envelope, but then I realized, I have never noticed this before when I received an invitation Go with what you think looks nicest, but don't stress over it.
