Guest list & invites

I read on LIW that x% of people that are invited to your wedding will NOT come.
Does anyone else feel like everyone they invited will come? I can only think of 4-10 people (tops)who won't come. My guest list like 140 or so. I would love it if people didn't come, my dad promised to give us $$$ for the HM, so the less at the RH the more $$ for the HM

same here. i've cut my list down so many times to ppl that HAVE to absolutely be there. i can't imagine anyone regretting!!!

The usual figure is 20% but that doesn't always work. You know who you're inviting and you know who's coming and who's not. In my case, I think all 300 are going to say 'YES', unfortunately.

honestly, a lot of brides will say 'i just KNOW these ppl are all coming' and are surprised about how many no's they get!

sadly i'm hoping for like 30+ no's...all my parent's guests! LOLOL

well i have about 100 people of my 260 not coming, but we pretty much knew that when sending out invitations. We had a lot of elderly family that just dont travel and stuff. We are not the 'norm' though.
