guest list nightmare

guest list nightmare

This is a terrible scenario but, if anyone experienced anything similar, I would love to hear how to handle it.

My mother and I are best friends, I love her so much. She has a long-term friend who has always made sarcastic and obnoxious comments to me in public, as recently as Sunday. My mom wants her at the engagement party and wedding and I've been unbelievably upset about it because of the potential for embarrassment.

Any advise???

i would tell ur mom to talk to her friend and lay the ground rules and let her know if this 'friend' misbehaves at ur e-party, she will not be invited to the wedding.

Id say agree to the engagment party invite... but have your mom talk to her in private beforehand...

then take it from there.. if you dont invite her to the wedding you have groudn to stand on (if she say misbehaves verbally at the E party)...

thats all i can really say... oh and give and a few

I have invited a few poeple that I can' t necessarily stand, (and make some off the cuff inapproproiate comments on stuff)... but i know ill just stay away from them on my big day

I would agree. Also, if any incident happens at the E-party-no wedding for her.
