Our guest list is growng daily, we are up to about 250 guests. My question is, do you think it is ok for FI to invite his co workers without a guest? There is about 9 of them so they would make a table themselves, but is it ok to have a 'work table'?
Thanks any advice would be helpful!!!

Re: Guest list question
Unless they are married or have a serious significant other, definitely ok! That's what I'm doing!

Re: Guest list question
Although they might have a great time together without dates because they all know each other, I think you should invite them with guest. I think it's the right thing to do and if we're talking etiquette-wise they should be invited with guest.

IMO, I would invite them with a guest if you can swing it. I am sure some have significant others and would like them to attend the Wedding as well.

Re: Guest list question
If they do not have a serious significant other, there's no problem in inviting them alone.
One thing I suggest though (from lots of experience of being an invitee) is that you have your FH explain why (guest list is insane). A lot of people, even if they are single, get really bent if they are invited alone to a wedding when they are expecting to be invited with a guest.

True, I have skipped weddings where I'm not invited with 'guest' 'cus it's not as fun going alone.

Us also - I even 'warned them' that I wasn't going to be able to invite them with a guest and I completely understood if they didn't want to attend. It worked out because only 2 of 10 are married so they were invited with their spouse - none of the others are even dating anyone & they were all cool about it.
