FH and I have a question. We have a couple on our guest list that got a STD. We have since found out that we are not invited to their May wedding (ours is in June). Can we just not send an invitation? We have a few B listers that I'd love to invite!
What would you do? Just invite and hope they say no? Or not even send an invite?

Maybe they are keeping their wedding small or to close family.
In my personal opinion I think it is rude to not send and invite especially if you did not have a falling out.

this is difficult to answer. I think it depends on who the person is and what my relationship is with them.
But I would probably invite them anyway.

this. If you guys are still friends now and you don't send them an invite, that might affect your friendship with this couple. They really may just be keeping their wedding small or family only.

No...most of our other friends were invited. The guy is a friend of FH- I barely know them

No falling out- the guys are in the same group- they do fantasy football, etc together every year and they went to college together.

personally, I'd at least send them an invite.
It's a little , but you'll be the bigger person by extending the offer. Then the balls in their court if they choose to attend or not.

ITA! they already received the STD so it'd look weird if all of a sudden they don't get the invite, they might think it's just because u weren't invited to their wedding.
