We are having a lot of guest from out of town at our wedding and we would like to transport them from the hotel to the wedding so they don't have to worry about having a good time. I've started looking into Coach buses, but they are a little pricey. Does anyone have any suggestions that would be a little more cost effective, but achieve the same results?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions! Carrie

Classic Transportation: We used them. They have vans that seat 11 people and also have vans they specifically use for weddings. Nothing fancy, just new and clean.

I am interested in this too. My FI's relatives are all from out of town. What were the prices you were quoted?

I was quoted $800 for a coach bus that seats 55. It just seems like a lot of money considering it's about 10 miles between the hotel to the catering hall. Carrie

Maybe you could check with the hotel your out of town guests are staying in. We blocked rooms at the Wingate and they said they can provide a vanor something that would be $40-80 each way depending on the distance. There are alos local car services. One close to where I live has one of those aiport shuttle type buses, probably holds about 14 people. I don't know the cost of that, but something I have on my to do list when it gets closer to the date.

Classic gave us a price of $90 each way, includes tax and tip, or $50/ hour (I think- we did this back in June so don't quote me). We used the vans from the hotel to the church and back. And then from the hotels to the reception and back. The phone number is 631-567-5100 and the person you should speak with is Christine.
