What are you doing? I don't want to just to have a guest book. Was looking for something something more creative. I LOVE the poloroid idea, but isn't it exspensive? Please share what you are doing...

We actually didn't do anything. I have no idea if there has ever been a guest book at any wedding I have been to -- I have never seen one and I have never signed one. DH and I felt like it was just another expense that people might ignore.

We are probably going to buy a platter and have all of the guest sign that. I have web site saved on my home computer. I can give you the link when I get home tonight if you want.

I'm making a photo book online of FH and I from when we were little up until now. So even if alot of people do not sign it we'll still have the photo book

I'm going to do a wish tree with manzanilla branches and small clusters of fake flowers. Guests will take a card, write a wish or piece of advice for us on it and then hang it on the tree.

I made a photos guestbook of DH and I through all our years together and had the guests sign around the pics. l brought it to the rehearsal dinner to ensure all the 'important' people signed it.

Re: Guest Sign In

We are doing 2 things.
A photo guest book which comes along with the photbooth we rented
and
A Time Capsule - I'm having a crafty Bm make a box and then on different color pieces of paper guests can predict out future or congratulate us on our anniversary. One will be blue and say In 5 Years, one will be while and that's in 10 years, then in 15 years and 20 years. So they can pick which they want to write and they can put something like... on the in 10 years.. will have 2 kids and a dog.. blah blah blah. Or on the 20 year.. they can write congrats on your 20th anniversary. I LOVED this idea and thought it was a cute spin to the guest book option.

We're going to do a wish bowl... there will be paper out for people to write advice or wishes and they'll drop it into a jar.

I didn't like the boring old guest book. So I bought this oversized book that goes with our theme and have people sign that! That way its like not some random blank book with people's signatures that you will never look at again.
