You are getting married exactly 354 days after me at the same place- haha

We are getting married at the Watrmill on a Sun afternoon and we are not including kids. Just my nephew/RB and my brother (12), a GM.

Its a tough one b/c if you invite that whole family, then other people who couldnt bring kids may be upset. How do you think the family will feel about not including their kids (other than the 16 yr old?)

Maybe have a cut off age? Will that end up including kids you dont want there?

Agh- I hate this whole 'to invite/not to invite kids' thing!

Hehehe I noticed hall twin. I can cut at 16 but then their are like other 5 families who have 16-17 (that is practically another table)!!!!

It's your wedding so if you don't want to invite kids you don't have to, no matter what time the wedding is. As far as the family with four kids, I don't think it would be appropriate to invite their children and exclude everyone elses. I would only invite the 16 yr old who will be in the wedding.

Its a tough question and you have to do what is right for YOU. We decided no kids under 18 unless they were in the bridal party. And people are complaining, and I'm not even getting married until NEXT summer, but i feel like if i give into anyone, then i give in to everyone, for me, its easier to just say no.

I'm getting married on a Sunday afternoon too. I had decided that I didn't wnt kids other than ring bearers and flowergirls. We made a cutoff age and that's what we're sticking to. If we bend if for someone others may get offended so we're standing our grounds!

our wedding too was adults only....and in my opinion, just because one member of the family is in the bridal party doesn't mean u have to invite the rest. I had my cousing who just turned 17 invited, and her little sister was my flowergirl....their 12 year old brother and 8 year old sister were not invited. It is totally up to you, but in my opinion u either have all kids, or no kids (not counting the ones in the bridal party of course!)...Of course do what is in your heart, but u dont want other people getting offended when they walk in and see a whole family of children when their own weren't invited. good luck!

Its your wedding. I had a NO KIDS policy and had a specific guest ask my grandmother if that meant her daughter wasnt invited, she of course broke it down to her and said DUH but they brought their daughter anyway.
If you invite 1 you dont have to invite the others
