Guest Transportation

Guest Transportation

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to transport guests from the hotel to the reception and back to the hotel? We are having approx. 50 people from out-of-town. We'd like to keep the cost under $500.

Thanks!

YOu could go on the Vendors helping Brides page and ask for a quote.
They didn't respond to MY request, but they probably will answer you back.
Good luck, I am actually looking for the same info too

Did you ask if your hotel offers a shuttle? Or maybe the have a company they use all the time they can refer you too?

Re: Guest Transportation

My hotel recommended a company but they only have vans that hold up to 14 people. With 40-50 guests, I think that would be too many vans and too many trips.

My brother did that for his wedding, it only held about that many and people just waited for it to come back and forth, and that was prob half of the wedding guests!

How far away is the hall from the hotel?

it's probably about a 20 minute ride if there is no traffic.

Well thats almost 40 min round trip. I think that if you can't find a reasonable price for a larger van, then maybe, if it works to be cheaper, you can get 2 smaller vans and some people can wait for the 2nd trip, you can have the first shift come like 20 mintues before or right when the recep is over, then people won't feel like they are waiting too long..

I am in the same situation... I have probably close to 75 people I need to get to the reception from the hotel...
I am either going to get one large bus that holds 33 passengers and augment it with some 14 pass. vans or just get 5 or 6 vans and have them all leave at the same time.

Wow! that's a great quote. I have called a few places and they are charging anywhere from $675-850

Was it a coach bus? how many people did it hold? How was the service?
