What kind of basket or bag did you use? Did you put anything in them besides an itinerary, maps, snacks and drinks?

Re: guest welcome baskets
We are using a basket from IKEA and are putting in long island travel guides, snack food items that are our last names, water, chips, mints, chocolate, directions to Church, itinerary for the weekend and I think thats about it.

Re: guest welcome baskets
I was going to purchase them at michaels since they were 50% off, but to my surprise I found the perfect baskets at (of all places) the dollar tree! $1 for each basket, I couldnt have asked for it cheaper

Re: guest welcome baskets
we did welcome 'boxes', which were a huge hit.
We did tons of snacks and beverages. Plus an invite to the day-after brunch and a day-of schedule for our guests.

Re: guest welcome baskets
I was thinking of getting brushed silver buckets, kinda like beach buckets since our wedding is on the water and filling them with all kinds of good things...a project I am putting my FMIL in charge of ;)
