guestbook ideas

Is anyone doing a unique guestbook? I love the wooden puzzles but they are crazy expensive.

I am thinking about doing something different. Etsy has some really cute alternatives (wishing stones, mad libs, etc). I think the Mad Libs would be really funny to read. If I do it, I will make it into a binder afterwards.

We are using our engagement pictures as a guestbook with spots for the guests to sign. Not sure that its super different but I have never saw it.

I just did that on mixbook.com. I don't know if it's different but I have also never seen that before. I was able to personalize it and include our wedding colors.

I did the same thing using shutterfly. I wouldn't recommend if you have a large wedding bc the book that shutterfly gives does not give a lot of room for writing.

Extra pictures from our photo booth will be able to go into a book to serve as a guest book. I also will have a larg manzanita tree on the escort card table that I want to make a wishing tree once everyone is seated. I'll have tags (not sure if I want to use envelopes or not with them) that guests can write on and hang on the tree. I'm not having a DOC (as of now) so I don't know who will arrange all of thsi stuff or collect it at the end of the night.....

I would definitely recommend mixbook.com. I just received my book this weekend. It is 12x12 and has more than enough space for guests to sign. They have different sizes. I chose the 12x12 book. Will post pictures later when I get home.

Wow, I love the drop top one. I like the other ones too, but I am so worried that one person would write something to ruin the whole thing, so I need the option to take one off (so a poster wouldn't work for me).
