What is the usual % of the guest list that responds 'no' ?

I heard 20-30%. i think it depends on the # of OOS guests and wether or not yours family would travel to the wedding. I know my OOS guests wont so I figured on 30%.

they say 10-20% but then there is the what if everyone says YES....

i dont go by standard percentages. you know who will definitely come 2 your wedding. i have all my maybe's as the percent i think wont come which is like 5-10.

I have also been told 20%, but it depends. We are inviting many people Out of state, so I am expecting a lot to say no. Plus I am inviting Oprah, so I don't expect her to come either.
I think I will be upset if more than a third say no, though.

My RH told me the percentage of nos gets larger as the wedding gets larger.
If you are only inviting your closest 90 or 100 people, chances are they are closer to you and more will say yes.
If you are inviting a huge amount of people, chances are you aren't as close wtih everyone you invited, and the percentage will be higher.
That being said, I've also heard 15-20% but I think its different wedding to wedding.

idk but i am awaitng the responses for my eparty and one part of my family 4 couples so 8 people i thought only 2 of them would come and ALL 8 ARE i am happy about it but in my head they were some of the NOs that i was callculating....
