guests bringing guests-what are the options?

guests bringing guests-what are the options?

I was wondering what everyone is doing about inviting singles. How do you work it if someone isnt in a relationship? Do you have to say "and guest" on their invite? I'm talking about friends or family that know plenty of other people at the wedding..do you feel obliged to extend the invite to 2 people. I don't think this is a trivial question at today's prices per plate. Of course I dont want to offend anyone either. Any thoughts?

That sounds horrible and much different from my experience. Lavendar is one of my catering halls "house vendors". When my fiancee and I went for an appointment, Michael was great taking the time to show us different portait types, different styles of photography, etc. I am sorry you had such a bad experience

Thanks in advance...

Basically you have to do what works for you-- we have decided only to invite those who are in a serious relationship-- My fiance has 2 female cousins that brought females(they are not homosexual) to his brothers wedding and I am not about to pay for some random guest of a guest-- So do what you feel is right for your situation Laura

Thanks! I called Rainbow & the woman was one of the most pleasant people I have spoken with since this whole wedding planning thing started! We are going to an upcoming showcase. If anyone else has any input on Rainbow it would be super appreciated - we are looking for a fun dance band (not gimmicky) that really covers songs well.

Thanks for all the info! :)
