We sent out our invitations about two weeks ago, and have been getting a steady return rate of response cards. But I've noticed a very strange trend: people are keeping the response cards and sending a note back instead! Is this normal? One of my guests even made a photocopy and sent that back! Now granted, our invites and responce cards are DIY'd and extremely unique and different, but I still think it's weird. Anyone else finding this?

I have never heard of that happening. I would take it as a compliment. Your invites must be amazing.

I had some guests that didn't want to ruin the look of the invitation and just called me.

Very strange! I didn't have this ... I'd ask for them back. I got annoyed when people called me to respond and told them to send back the stamped response!

Love your invites, so creative! Sounds like ppl love them so much they want to keep them or they really think you'll be scanning in the tickets at the ceremony!

Never heard of that, but I just looked at your invites and I can see why... people are keeping it to show friends!
