so i went to buy gh 3 and the guy at target told me that i had to buy another guitar b/c the game is only compatalbe w/ the new guitar ( i have a wireless already, and it it had the cord it would be okay) he told me that sony didn't think very well, and blah blah blah, so i end up buying another guitar w/ the game, and get home and realize o yeah my guitar had a wire to plug in if i wanted, so i called a friend over to see if i could borrow hers for try it out (so i could return the other box if i had to ) ...well GUESS WHAT IT WORKS WITHOUT THE CORD >..my wireless guitar works ...i was so freakin pissed i went back to target and yelled at he guy, Fh says he probally gets commission and wanted me to spend $ that i really didnt have to

anyways GH3 ROCKS..anybody else have it?

um duh. i wish you talked to me before this purchase. i had GH1, GH2, and GH80s, and all worked with the wireless guitar, i cant imagine why the wireless wouldnt have worked with the newer version.
anyway, i never played GH3, but i played the others, and loveddddd them all.

Never trust anyone in one of those stores with anything technology based! These kids dont know anything! Before we bought our huge tv last weekend, everytime FH and I looked he would basically laugh at the salesmen because they are not educated to sell their products at all. FH is a big time computer/tv/video game nerd!

no i have 1,2 and rock the 80's he told me that sony made the 3rd one and not for the old wireless guitar....HE LIED!

is this playstation 3 you are talking about? FH was pretty sure that only the new guitar that comes with the game works with GH3 on PS3 and not any of the guitars currently sold separately. are you saying that is wrong?

GH3 is prob the best of the entire series. Yes, the old controllers work, as long as you are running the games on PS2. You need a new controller for Wii if you are using that system.

Oh OK, you are using PS2. Just wanted to make sure. I was asking about PS3. FH said they dont sell any guitars separately that work with it on PS3 yet, so I was excited when I thought he might be wrong.
When we play together he plays on the PS3 controller and I play on the guitar, until they come out with the separate guitars...
