As an ex-smoker, I sometimes feel the need to smoke a cig b/c I miss the way it calmed my nerves.

Instead, b/c smoking is icky and I haven't smoke in 5 years... I put 10 pieces of dentin ice in my mouth.

Well the amount of minty buring sensation I have in my mouth right now is killer!!! But my nerves have subsided a bit, but I look like ace ventura right now chewing this wad of gum. And the feeling is friggin weird and I don't know what to make of it.

Yay, that you fought the urge. I had a cig on Saturday after 4 years of not smoking.
