Gurneys vs Oceanbleu?
Ladies can you please help me make a decision between these two sites. Anyone have any firsthand information? Has anyone tried the food at Gurneys?

My sister got married at Oceanblue (Atlantica) but 10 years ago, it was amazing. A coworkers daughter got married there last year and raved about it, so it must still be as good as when my sister got married there. My coworkers daughter had a Bon fire on the beach after the wedding which I thought sounded amazing. Everyone changed into comfy clothes and they continued the party on the beach. I would suggest having dinner at both places to see how the food is
I've heard that Gurneys is pretty run down, but I've heard amazing things about Oceanbleu!
Such a hard decision! I used to work with a wedding photographer at both locations. Oceanblue is more big windows, wedding hall design, and beautiful. BUT Gurney's has better food and is more 'hamptons' which I LOVE. If you are going to splurge and stay the weekend there I would go for Gurney's but I think it's because it holds a special place in my heart growing up! If I really wanted a place like Oceanblue, I would just get married a the East Hampton Pointe because that's my true dream location lol. I'm assuming you may know where that is being that you mention Gurney's.
I'm getting married at Oceanbleu and I also check out Gurney's when I was looking. Gurney's is very run down and also can be a hike for guests depending on where they are coming from. Gurney's in case of rain option involves being in the restaurant and having tables covered by a white sheet. The ballroom is not updated and looks like any other ballroom you would see at any catering hall. Oceanbleu's ballroom is gorgeous and I went to my food tasting and I was blown away by Oceanbleu. Good luck to you!
