I'm at that point where this isn't fun anymore. I've turned into a crazy person. And I went into this saying , this is gonna be fun and should in no way be stressful!! But I feel like I morphed into this different person- a Mr. Hyde, if you will.
Its an emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows. Like ill be soooo excited and happy for something, then all of a sudden come crashing down with anxiety over another thing.
My grandparents are here from OOT staying w me and I really want to enjoy their company since I only usually see them once a yr, but I feel like I'm too consumed by nerves that I can't!!
Ahhhhh!!
I was crying at work today, for no reason. I'm the type of person who leaves my personal life at the door, but I'm having trouble doing that feeling like this.
And I feel bad that its just the stress from planning.. then u have some of u girls with real problems!! Like jess- jhines with her family issues and missymiss and her health. You girls are troopers and my heart goes out to u both, and everyone else who has other issues going on in their lives. Here I am crying over the stress of wedding planning.
Well I just needed to vent. Thank to anyone who read this whole thing

Re: guys..
just because other people have more serious problems in their lives than you do doesnt make yours any less aggravating...
take a couple of days and just relax, your gparents being here is the perfect opportunity for you to take some time
ETA: is there something specific that will help you if you get it out?

Re: guys..
first of all, don't feel bad or guilty about being stressed .... we are all fighting our own monsters .... some bigger than others, of course, but all monsters nonetheless!
secondly, i totally agree .... wedding planning used to be fun .... and now i just can't wait for it to be over (the planning part, not the wedding part) ...

Thank you! I like to hear that I'm not alone. I just feel guilty cuz other ppl make me feel like I shouldn't be stressed over wedding planning.
BTW, I hope I didn't offend anyone.. I don't mean to..

Re: guys..
You gotta give yourself a few days a week where you do absolutely NOTHING wedding related. It'll be good for your sanity and it'll give you a chance to enjoy the other things in your life that you might not be able to (like your grandparents visiting).

Re: guys..
i think anything wedding related...meaning anything that effects ur wedding is a big issue.
I think it's not just a wedding thing, it is, a GIRL thing, we take things a little bit more to heart than a man does, and whether we know it or not, we've dreamed of this day our whole lives, probably next to the moment you become a mother. women are more emotional with everything (i really really really hope no man reads this, I hate admitting guilt... )
*** My fights are more b/t my mom and my sister, and I think my dad is hearing from both of them, since, he does live with them. My dad actually hasn't yelled or screamed or cursed, and when he reemed FH it was more like 'everyone's fighting and i dont know whats going on, do you?' and when FH couldn't answer him he made him more mad.

no, nobody was offended (or at least, i totally was not).
nobody realizes how much crap comes with wedding planning .... people just assume it's booking a couple of vendors, buying a dress, and that's it .... we LIWers totally understand because we're all in exactly the same boat.
and by the way, i don't think ANYBODY has ever loved every single part of wedding planning! you're totally not alone

Re: guys..
you just hit the 2 month mark a week ago, I can tell you from first hand experience for some reason the 2 month mark I lost it! I felt the exact same way you are describing. I was moody, depressed, not excited and wasn't sleeping at all.
What I did was take a few days, maybe even a week for ME. I called into work one day and just rested. I napped on and off watched some mindless daytime television and vegged out. For the entire time I didn't do any wedding planning. I just kinda hibernated for a little. It made a WORLD of difference for me. I felt refreshed excited again and moved on. This is completely normal, don't panic.
I would suggest enjoying the visit with your grandparents and leave the planning on the side for the moment. You have time and will get it all done.
if it makes you feel better, I know of a few people who at the 2 month mark began to feel this way, so it's not just you and I
Hang in there sweetie

Re: guys..
I went through the same thing except it happened after the wedding. All of a sudden everything crashed, it was affecting my work, and everything else. I actually went to the dr for some help because I just felt so anxious and it wouldn't stop. I didn't want to leave the house! It eventually will calm down.
