Guys Check Long Island Sound
If you have any pull with the wife-to-be and have not booked a DJ yet, check out Long Island Sound. Nic and I had an appointment with them last night and they were awesome. We booked them and I have NO WORRIES in my head.
We met with Mike B and he is AWESOME!
First of all, it is not a typical sales pitch. You are not sitting in an office watching a DVD although that is part of it. You actually get to see the performance. Their office has a mini-reception hall in the back. They have the lights and DJ equipment set up and Mike B played music to show his introduction and then introduced us as he will at the wedding. Trust me it was GREAT. They are priced very comparable to all the other DJs we seen.
I am not 1 to get blown away easily (although Nic is), especially DJs because I roadied for a DJ company in college and a friend is a Club DJ / Producer. I was not impressed at all with some of the others we seen. When we met LI Sound, IU was blown away. i actually said under my breath to Nichole, 'I'm Sold.' I called him about an 1 1/2 hours afterwards, worked out a GOOD price and signed the contract during lunch today.
Seriously guys, if you have booked a DJ, check them out. Only probelm, I mised the block twice before realizing where it was.
