GUYS NEED INPUT VIA POLL

can't decide white or ivory--- always saw myself in white but now i dont know--plus if i go ivory c=will it clash with charcoal gray tux??? i am so clueless---seriously

I don't know that it would clash. It depends on the 'shade' of ivory.

I always pictured ivory as very very very off-white, almost a light beige. But I picked out my dress yesterday (finally!) and I could have sworn it was white but my mum and FSIL told me it was ivory! The boutique clerk checked and sure enough, it's ivory.

I think only you can make that decision. I was the same way, always imagined white but then after trying on dresses I was leaning towards ivory & I ended up with ivory!! I would say put both on & see which you LOVE!! Follow your instincts!!

I would go with white-- jmho there are different tones of ivory, the shirts the GM and FH will be wearing will be white so it may be a little off--- but it is all personal preference

I would go with whichever color looks better on you.

If you can't try your dress on in the color you are considering, then perhaps you can try a similar dress by the same designer just to get a feel for how the color looks on you.

Most girls have a strong personal preference towards dress color once they've tried both on.

And if its ivory that looks better on you, I would considering changing the tuxedo color to black.

Many of the tuxedo shops carry shirts for the men that are off-white or 'diamond white' so it will look fine in the pics ... you can check my review for pics if you want.

Its hard to say.....you should go with whatever looks best on you. I tried on some ivory dresses and didnt like the way ivory looked on me, so I went with white. When you try them on, you will get a sense of what looks best.

same here....i tried on the sample and we all thought i was trying on a white dress - it was actually ivory so thats the color i ordered...

My groomsmen and FH will be wearing charcoal gray tuxes too and i'm wearing white...I think white would go better with gray than ivory would..but both would work either way....but I vote white!
