I was looking into planet fitness in Hicksville.....I did xsport for a while, but that place was sooooooooo gigantic & rather intimidating.

I go to Equinox. I guess some ppl might think it's pretentious, but I've gone to all of the other big gyms and I think it's the nicest by far. The trainers are so knowledgable, the facilities are so beautiful and clean and the classes are great. You get some ppl wanting to see & be seen, but no more than any other gym. I just love it. My FH was initially going to Bally's (as was I), but once I switched and took him as a guest one week he switched (after initially declaring he'd never switch). He said that he couldn't drop me off at the 'filet mignon' of gyms and then go sweat at the 'spam' of gyms. He thinks of some funny analogies, lol.

I don't know where you live. When I lived on LI I LOVED Synergy. Now I'm a NYSC girl.
