I know some of you guys work in the city, and perhaps you visit your GYN there, too.
I am in need of a new one. My current doctor is unfriendly, insensitive, and makes me want to never have children!
I am looking for preferrably a female, who has some sense of humor and is willing to andswer my questions without an attitude...can you believe my current doctor has the nerve to get huffy with me when I ask something???
Midtown East would be best, but at this point, I am just looking for a terrific GYN! Thanks for all of your help girls!!

Re: GYN in the city?
Try Downtown Women in the Village, it's one of two all women ob/gyn's in NYC. I've been going there for the last 8 years.

I agree. They were great, I was so mad when I had to stop going (due to insurance changes)

I go here too. I see Dr. Audrey Buxbaum and am very happy with her.

Re: GYN in the city?
I've had the same gyn since 17 years old -- she is wonderful!
Her info is: Dr. Laila Sillay 212-288-1669
She's in the 70s which might be out of the way for you -- but I would still keep her in consideration

Re: GYN in the city?
I love my OBGYN! I live out of the state now but schedule my appts during visits to NY. I hope to move back to NY before I have kids so she can deliver them!
Dr. Yale - she is in the 70s at 768 Park Ave.

Re: GYN in the city?
LOL I used to see Dr Yale - but for reasons switched to Dr Ann Carlon - She is the best - she is highly recommended by a couple of dr's she is affliated with Cornell Wiel Hospital. I have used her for years and can't recommend her enough.
(212) 922-8100 ( Not positive that it is right so you might want to look that number up) she is in the 60's between 2nd and 3rd Ave - same block as Fox 5

Re: GYN in the city?
My GYN is located on the upper eastside, she is affiliated with NYPH-cornell Medical (considered the best hospital in Manhattan) but she has her own private practice -very nice intimate office setting, I don't think she accepts medical insurance-HMO's so she is a litte expensive. But definitely TOP Notch and pleasant. If you want me to FM you, let me know.

Re: GYN in the city?
I, too, go to Murray Hill OB/GYN and like Dr. Maria Betancourt.
And Dr. Yale has been recommended to me by a couple of people, so that option sounds good too.
