Does anyone go to a gyno (preferably female) that they can recomend?
Im tired of going to these doctors that dont even know your name no less care about your health.

Sonic...me and ALL of my friends, their sisters, my ex-sister in law all use WOMEN'S HEALTHCARE SPECIALISTS.
Some use Dr. Herzog, some use Dr. Schirripa, the doctor I was using left this office and opened his own practice, and now I've been seeing Dr. Karen Gallagher (actually I think she's a nurse)...
They have delivered soooooooooo many babies that I know...

I am not pregnant nor trying. I just need a checkup and a script for BC pills. Does she do that?
And are all the people in the practice women? I went to one place that had one women and a few men and it was a grab bag depending on who was avaible - i dont like that.

No...they are not all women. Mostly male...but they really are great! I've been seeing Karen for the third time now and for the same reasons you need (bc pills and checkup)...and before that only saw the other doctor (though like I said, he's left that practice and opened his own in SI).
You usually see the same doctor and if you decide to go see them, tell them you want to continue seeing the one doctor and the one doctor only.

I used Dr. Mann (ironic...it's a woman) since I'm 18.
She is located in Bayridge as well as 18th Ave. and Ocean Parkway.
Really good doctor.

My Dr. is in Brooklyn and Hewlett I love her! Betsy Lantner, do you prefer a man or a woman? There are other doctors there male and female as well the office is at 1624 East 14th Street Do you want the phone number?

I go to tammyjill's doctor too at her other office, and she really is great. Very sweet.

Steph - I see Brooklyn Women's Health Care in Brooklyn Heights. Dr. Weinstock is the only woman and there are 4 doctors in the group. Usually, you see the same doctor but no always. It is a really great place.

I use Dr Kliot and the Midwives group...I know- it sound slike a musical group!
I only met with the midwives for annual checkups and scripts..and even when I was preg- all my visits were with the midwives!
