Anyone go to a Gyno/Obstetrician in Bellmore, Merrick, Wantagh, Seaford or Rockville Center towns that you would recommend? And what hospital are they affiliated with?

My sister goes to Blinderman in RVC - although I think it's tough to get in to see her each time, she has a good practice of mostly woman. She's with Mercy Hospital. I also know a lot of girls on here recommended Dr. Gary Levine in Mineola with winthrop hospital although probably too far for you. I've heard good things about dr. marc behar in garden city and I;m trying him out in August. good luck!

Dr. Arnelle Blinderman and Dr. Leslie King are in the same practice and I've seen both of them. The nurses are so sweet! I absolutely love Dr. King.

i used to go to him and dr. turri and once they left me waiting in the examination room for an hour!!! they forgot i was in there.

You have me beat ... the last time I was there (after taking off from work twice and then him cancelling!!) I was in the exam room for 40 mins after being in the waiting room for almost an hour.
WHY DO THEY DO THAT TO PEOPLE?? Like I said, I LOVE him but come on!!! I have to find someone new anyway because my husband said he will not have me giving birth all the way in RVC when we live in Northport (so, he has point!) ...
Anyone use Dr Scanlon in Huntington? DH's brother's went to school with him and DH's friend's wives go to him ...

I used to go to Horizon OBGYN on Merrick Rd in Rockville Centre. (Dr. Baggott).

Dr. Robert Grggs Jr.
He is a high risk OB/GYn.
He saved not only my life but my daughters life after I trusted a regular OB/GYN.
Affiliated with Mercy and North Shore I beleive

Denise I go to Dr. Levine in Mineola he is located around the corner and affiliated with Winthrop... I'm not sure if you're asking in those particular towns because of the train, but they have Saturday appointments and later in the evenings available...

Bethpage OB/Gyn . I use Dr.Adrienne George. They are fantastic in there- there website is www.bethpageobgyn.com

Thanks everyone for their responses. I had decided to stay at the dr I found in Bellmore -since travelling is the biggest issue for me (I do not drive) and this place was very convenient. Since posting this I found a few people who used the place I went to and were happy with it so I will saty put.
