Had a crappy day...

Had a crappy day...

... so I'm here to take my mind off it. I need some cheering up. I never thought that being a teacher, you could encounter so much drama. I hope when I'm a parent, I don't put my kid's teachers under a microscope. People just need to relax. Sorry for venting a bit.

I think being a teacher has more drama than any other job!!! I TOTALLY understand what you are going through!

Sorry you had a rough day - parents can be so skeptical... I'm not looking foward to being a first year teacher and having my every choice questioned next year...

I hope tomorrow is better for you!

I completely understand what you are going through.....I think teaching is probably one of the most draining jobs there is. I mean how many other people do you know have to be 'on' all day, take work home, make phone calls and write notes to no avail, and never really be able to sit down.

1.
first, hugs to you, you have the hardest job short of parenting.
2. My BF is a teacher and she contantly struggles with stress related to the job so I feel what you are saying.
3. My sis is a pediatrician and she always says the same thing --> she looks after kids but what she spends her real time doing is taking care of parents who question her judgement.
I hope you get it out of your system -- kids need devoted teachers like you who care. All my best.

Ya know... it always amazed me when i was little that teachers never seemed to pee! Of course, it never occured to me that they could when we were at lunch, art, P.E., etc....

I thought my teacher was some sort of supreme being!

Aw, Angelbear. Sorry you had a rough day. But you know what, teachers really DO make difference in their kids lives. A lot of teachers helped me along my way, and I will always be grateful for how they positively influenced my life.
