Had a SCARE at work.....

Today I was at work and I went to the bathroom to urinate. I stoped urinating and I notice that there was some fluid still coming out. I said to myself, hey I'm not pushing (to urinate) what the heck is this!!! So, of course I FREAK out, because in only 30 weeks and I shouldn't be leaking amnoitic fluid. Thankfully I work in a hospital so I went right upstairs to L&D. I was examined and had an ultrasound. Thank God, everything is OK!!! I am not leaking fluid, however I may have a little urine incontience, because of the pressure from the baby on my bladder. So I guess I better start clipping DEPENDS coupons!!!

Oh MY!! Glad things turned out okay!! I'm at 26 weeks and the baby puts so much pressure om my bladder as well that I cringe when I sneeze because I never know!

oh i feel for you! Welcome to 'leaky peepee'! That's what I called it. It was like another 5 seconds of liquid made its' way out after I would pee - worse when I stood up!!

What you should do (TMI of course) is after you pee, lean forward on the toilet for like 30 seconds. That will empty your bladder out once and for all. Fortunately this leaking didnt' happen jsut randomly -only right after I peed. Hope thats the same for you - and yes, this started for me right around 29 weeks.
