Had girls night at my house last night

We usually go out to a cafe for chocolate fondue but since I have a fondue set taking up space in my cabinet I decided lets try it here. Let me tell you that this receipe was AWESOME and so easy.

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
• 1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup evaporated milk or light cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat; immediately stir in cocoa. Add sugar and evaporated milk.

2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and hot. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Fondue will thicken slightly as it cools. Serve warm with Assorted Fondue Dippers. About 1-1/2 cups fondue.

I served it with marshmellows, bananas, pound cake, graham crackers and my favorite pineapple. I also throw in a splash of ameretto....it was so delicious.

i love the pineapple and chocolate...I had some as a dessert in barcelona...and it was better than any dessert I have ever had...

they said it was chocolate sauce...but it probably lost something in the translation...I thought it might me ganouche (sp?) but I am going to try your recipe!!!!
