Had meeting with NRC last night!

just wanted to let my fellow NRC brides know that i had yet another WONDERFUL encounter with NRC!! i had my menu planning meeting last night with george and gus and they were so accommodating, patient, and simply terrific to work with.
i am so excited to be having my reception there!! two weeks from saturday!!!!

I just went to look at it with my FSIL for her wedding and i REALLY LIKED IT ! I saw it years ago when it was Villa Victor and i cant get over what a nice job they did with the renovation. Congrats and good luck !!!

thanks! i cant wait to give my review!! i will have mine and my parent's digital cameras so i should have pics right away! (assuming the guests in charge of the cameras do their job!)

I was just there tuesday night! I posted pics on here! I love that place. They are so accomadating it's unbelieveable. anything you want they allow!

spel...i asked jennie about the linens when I was there the other night-she said the only upgrade is for the linens with the pattern/design on it. I dind't really care for it (JMO) but all the rest of the linens are included.

obviously spel is WAY ahead of the game - as you see, i went for my menu meeting 2 1/2 weeks before my wedding!

as for the cake, i wanted simple so i didnt bring a picture or anything. i asked for a round, stacked cake, flat with the little dots on it. my florist is going to decorate it with fresh flowers (and i know Flower Michele will do a super job with that!).

i did get the linen upgrade - personally, i like the upgraded linen considerably better than the regular. it adds just another touch of elegance, IMO.

edited to add: we are getting yellow cake with the canoli (w/ choc. chips) filling

Yummy that's the kind of cake I want too!! Can't wait to hear how it tasted. How much is it to upgrade to the linens? Do the linens look like what dejrenn had?

yes i think that is what the upgraded look like--from what they showed me on tuesday night.

that cake is nice but i really want mt stacked cake to be much higher--that is the second cake from there i have seen like that--is it possible to get a higher one? it is beautiful though!

endlessluv - i would definitely bring a picture of what you want. i know what you mean by a 'higher' cake (and i think i need to mention that to them about mine as well!).

unfortunately, i dont have a clue what the linen upgrade cost was.

no they didn't tell me--I guess because i wasn't interested so i didnt' ask!!

miro-i'd be curious to see what they do for your cake! keep us updated! you have FM by the way!
