I met with a midwife today that is part of a group. I really like her and look forward to meeting the rest of the group. She confirmed the pregnancy and gave me a due date of 8/18, only a day earlier than my guess. Jenny- listkeeper, you can update the list when you have more people to add/change. The only sad thing I learned is I will not get to see the little bean until 18-20 weeks. They do not do an early sono to date the pregnancy unless you are unsure of how pg you are. She spent over an hour with me taking down history and discussing why I chose to switch from an OB to a midwife. How exciting. I would certainly miss not having a sono until the 18th week, but I'm sure everything will be fine! Best of luck with your new midwife!
