Had my 34w visit today....

Peanut's movin' and shakin'....and growing!!!!

I have to go for a sonogram on June 2nd to check Peanut's size... If he/she is too big, (at almost 36 weeks), we're likely going to have a C/S by 38 weeks. So much for the $190 on Lamaze classes...


I just want my healthy nutter-butter in my arms no matter how he/she gets here!!

Kathi, you are right ~ the arrival method is completely unimportant, as long as he/she is healthy and in your arms!

Don't worry Kathi... You may not have to be induced or delivered via C/S...the same thing happened to me when I was PG. I had to go for another sono within the final month b/c the doctors said that I was measuring big for my number of weeks and thought the baby was too big.

HOWEVER....the size of your belly does not always equate directly to the baby's size. It could be the way you're carrying, the amount of amniotic fluid you have, or how much weight you've gained during the pregnancy or the build of your body. In my case, I measured larger b/c I am petite and I don't have many places to hide the baby, if you know what I mean. I was all belly, and it looked like I was further along than I was during the entire nine months! Every woman is different, and you'll know for sure why your measuring big after the sono...thank goodness for technology, right?
Chances are, you'll still be able to have a natural labor anyway. Good luck...and no worries....we are all praying for you to have a healthy and happy peanut!!
