had my appointment with flower michele today

I went in wanting to see options for purple and yellows and barbara helped me alot. I got some great ideas for flowers!

I went to burtons with only callas in mind ( minis)

FM was about $200 more than Burtons ( mind you burtons was all callas also) I have heard great things about both places so i am still torn.

At this point with all the $$ problems we are probobly cutting out flowers all together at the wedding ( except for BP) but if i win the contest i will be so happy cause then i can have them!! lol Its a little dissappointing to think of not having flowers for the wedding but its the only thing i really feel i can do without if i had to! so we will see! hope you all get your appointments in for the contest!!!

I saw on Who's Wedding is it Anyway. The planner went to a dollar store and bought all candles and holders and made a beautiful CP that was about $6 and used some rose petals to add color. It was really nice and a great option.

You can do flowers much cheaper then with the bigger named places....if you want to have them and save money!! for the ceremony and centerpieces we are using a friend of FI that has been a florist for years ......much cheaper proably a quarter of the price ...

I know there are a few in the Eastmeado/levittown area that will do it much cheaper even if you dont do alot of flowers......we are doing more candles in our centerpiece then flowers .......

Omg I saw that one.. that did turn out really nice.
