Everything turned out beautiful. I couldn't have imagined it any better. I had a great time and was very surprised. Well, up to the point when the restaurant owner started to lead us to the back room. At that point I knew and my heart started to race before I walked in
My mom created a rose theme with porcelain roses as favors and mini-rose plants as centerpieces. The cake was excellent. Everyone was raving about it. I hope my wedding cake tastes that good. When I get pictures.. I'll post some.
Just so happy how it turned out. I just wanted to share.

Re: Had my bridal shower on Sunday
Since I already have my own place. I had the everyday needed things already. I got most of my fancy glasses, china and a few pieces of silver...etc.
A little disappointed with Fortunoff. Ended up with a few doubles. Yesterday, I looked at my registry and it looks like nobody bought anything from it. Not sure what happened there.

Sorry, forgot to mention it was at Umberto's located on Jericho Turnpike. It's a pizzeria/restaurant. The food was VERY GOOD!

Congratulations. Please share pictures. Is that on Jericho in Syosset? I didn't know they have a private room. About how many people did you have? Where did they get the cake?
