Had My Bridal Shower Today- Best Day of My Life!

Today was up there with one of the best days of my life. It was soooo incredibly beautiful and lovely- everything that you could want in a shower was at mine and more. My MOH (NYCMEGHAN), mother and some amazing helpers such as my girlfriend who flew in special from New Orleans and my sister and my mother's friend who loves this sort of thing banded together to create this most amazing gift. The key word was effort and the effort in this was crazy apparent. I can't even imagine the wedding topping this! NYCMEG- the bar was set sooo high by you!

The shower started at 12:30 in the afternoon at my mothers house. There was forty- five ladies. The minute I got there my sister raced up to me and placed a fake veil and tiara on my head. Tons of bridal cameras were going off in my face (15 cameras were purchased)! The whole house was decked in pink with flowers and bridal accoutrements. I found out NYCMeghan even made the beuatiful invitations!

Tea food was served including mini tea sandwiches, eclairs, brownies, floral cupcakes, and cookies. There was every different kind of tea imaginable. There were two black tie servers running around the whole time serving champagne.

We opened gifts and I got so much both off and on my registry, including my garter (my something blue), luggage, all my formal and everyday dishes, tons of candles, my cake knives, tons of lingerie, and a bride and groom cookbook. We played bridal bingo (orchestrated by NYC Meghan) while we were opening gifts. Guests got into it and won prizes! Of course, I got to wear the ribbon hat made by my sister.

My prince came in with a dozen long stemmed red roses about thirty minutes before the end of the shower with his father and grandfather. We made a speech and toasted everyone!! I cried a little!

Here is my advice: If anyone is a MOH or bridesmaid and needs help planing a shower, NYCMeghan is THE PERSON. It was so amazing! I still can't believe it was my shower! My turn! Just got back and I had to write. Thanks for listening.
