Had My E-Party!!
Hi Girls!!
I was away all weekend...FI's family through us an E-Party in NJ---it was mostly his family and the family friends, with my mom, my dad, brother, his GF (bridesmaid), Our Maid of Honor and Best Man (who drove out from maryland!) Most of the people my mom invited could not make it because of other plans, and we did not really as many from our side because it was a Trip to spend the night, and we already got gifts from them for our Engagement.
ANyways---we had a blast!! IT was at a Restaruant in Middletown, NJ called RedHeads...we had our own private room.....3 passed appetizers and a buffet stle dinner with 4 entrees, veggies and potatoes....
The food was delicious....then my FFIL and our Best man toastes to us...it was really special...and it makes me even more excited to have Carl as our Best man. I really like him A LOT! He has the right words at the right times and is just great!!
We had about 40 people there and opened Lots of presents!! My FAVE was a pair of crystal candleholders from TIFFANYS...I was shocked! I do not have ANYTHING Tiffs, but when I sa the blue shopping bag, with the Blue box I just about peed my pants!! FH is CLUELESS, but all the women who were there knew...the men...they were clueless...It was from Fhs moms Boss!! WOW!
We also got a gift of our INvitations from FH uncle! He syas to pick out whatever we want, order, pay, and then send him the bill and he will pay it back to us! He lives in Fl, so this is easiest!! I am soo thrilled!! One less thing to worry about and can still get exactly what I want!
Got lots of other cool stuff, some on registry, some not...but one lady gave us a Mikasa Lasagna Spoon in a blue (display-like box).....That I was not thrilled with....it was rather weird......Any ideas where I can return it???!!!!
ALl in all, it was a great weekend, had a TON of fun, LOOVE being the center of attraction!! I can get used to this!! I am so looking forward to getttin married!! a little less than 400 days!! Yikes!!!!!
