Had my final meeting with CLM today!!

It was pretty quick, but we got a lot accomplished! We picked out our cake (which is PERFECT!!!!), we finalized the menu, we picked up the placecards, and we got the floorplan! They changed the ceiling in the entrance and it looks MUCH nicer!!!! Its really elegant. I took pics, I'm just waiting for FH to upload them and email them to me. I'll post them later this evening

I imagine you picked out a cake from the pics they gave you...wondering how it'll be for me. I'm really looking for something specific and hope they can work with it. So you didn't have to meet with Black Forest at all?

Hope they finally got around to fixing up the upstairs room!

For the cake, they had a really small book to choose from (I think maybe like 6 or 8 cakes). Most of them were the kind that has like the collums between each tier, but the last few were regular tiered (stacked directly on top of each other). We chose chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and a thin layer of rasberry preserves with whipped cream icing yummmm. We didnt have to meet with Black Forest because ours was pretty standard. I think if you want to upgrade he'll tell you to meet with Tom at Black Forest.

For entrees, we chose the chateaubriand, stuffed veal chops, chicken francaise, and the stuffed jumbo shrimp. Nick said they were all great choices

Wow, good for you. We're getting married the same day and we haven't done anything yet! We did get a call that we need to do the menu on Friday, we've just been playing phone tag with them. We'll get them tomorrow and make an appt for a meeting. Must be nice, though, to have all that stuff finished with!
