Had my final meeting with Watermill last night...

Met with Tom, he is always so helpful.
Went over the menu choises and he made suggestions that were helpful. I am even more excited!!!

Things you may not know:
* You have to have your guest list in alfabetical order / Placecards too

* They have replaced the ugly blue resin chairs with BEAUTIFUL rought iron chairs and tables.

* You have to choose only one imported beer. Not a big deal but I thought they would have choises for the guests. You choose one.

Anything else you can tell us about the Watermill - I am having my wedding reception upstairs, and getting married downstairs - in 3 months!

Debbus...

Do you know if the Watermill puts candles on the tables at the reception? I was thinking about putting some votive holders with tea lights in them on the tables for some candlelight.

They had votives and a small bubble bowl with a floating rose on the cocktail tables for our wedding. We used tall spiral centerpieces with votives in our main room. I dont think they added anything to the reception tables. Between the centerpiece, favors, menues and placesettings I dont think there was really room for anything else.

They do offer votive candles on the tables. They usually put 2 on each table, but you could ask for more. They are votive size candles not tealights in a clear votive holder.
They do float flowers in water for the cocktail hour tables, no candles (maybe they would if you asked them) Might be too much though beacues the flowers are in glass bowls, too much the same.
