Had my first cancellation!!

Ughh I knew this was going to happen. One of my friends and her husband cant make the wedding because of family illness. While I obviously understand, I'm definitely sad she cant make it and now I'm not sure what to do about seating. I had her at a table of 8 and now since they arent coming it changes to a table of 6...do you think I should leave it at 6 or try to make it a table of 8? Is 6 too little for a table? TIA!

Ok there is a big chance that some more people will cancel (hopefully not but maybe) so maybe you should wait till the lsat meeting to rearrange any seats if you need to. If these are the only people who cancel then you should leave it at 6.....my opinion.

Do all of your tables seat 8? If so, I'd say leave it.

If they are larger, I'd move a couple to there.

Round tables or oval?? I think 6 is fine on a round but for some reason on an Oval it looks to big for 6 so i woul dtry to move 1 couple to that table if possible. If not then dont go crazy. Leave it.
