I HATE my dress.......It doesn't suit my body type AT ALL......... It looks HORRIBLE on me and makes my short torso even shorter........this is the first time that I saw my dress on in a full length mirror in my size.........

My seamstress told me that this style isn't good for my body type.(short torso).........

My MOH and I are going out tonight to find another dress for me.........I can't believe this

wait....I'm really confused. I just looked in your album, ans saw a picture of you at a fitting with the dress on (I think the 4th one down? )
Is that YOU in the dress?
If so, it looks beautiful. Was that the sample? Please explain. I am confused.

Didn't you post once before that you were unsure about your dress when it came in? Well, that dosen't matter- don't you worry and get all upset. Not to be philosophical or anything but I bet you find the dress of your dreams now and for less money. Everything happens for a reason and when you find that dress that you look drop dead gorgeous in- don't forget to post a pic so we can all see how beautiful you look! Don't cry- ok- it will be allright.

dont' be upset!!! I love your dress!!!! But, if you feel you need to look elsewhere do..you might end up realizing that you still love your dress! don't worry! it will work out! You'll look beautiful!

I had a similar situaton and I feel your pain. I personally love the gown, but its your decision. I hated my first dress and went out and bought another one, which I absolutely love. Good Luck and remember things will work themselves out.

So sorry! I too have a short torso and quite honestly some dresses that seamstresses would think won't look good, can!!!

Post a pic of you in your dress. Sometimes it seems worse than it is, really!!!!

And if you still hate it, you can definitely still get a new dress.

What the first fitting the first time you tried on the dress ever??

The sample was a size 12 (I'm a size 8).......My dress got shipped to me......and I don't have a full length mirror in my house, so I wasn't able to see what it looks like until today.....

I HATE that they carry sample is ridiculous sizes... you'll find another dress... it'll be OK.

is size 12 really ridiculous? if so i am in big trouble

Very stressful!!
You may already know this but there is a section on the knot.com or weddings.com where you can type in your body type and they show you the types of dresses that will look best on you.
Good luck with finding the dress that will make you FEEL as beautiful as you ARE!

OMG Kristy, I am so sorry you're going through this!!! You must be so heartbroken!!
You'll find a dress you will LOVE!!! No worries AT ALL!

I have the opposite torso problem- my torso is longer, legs are shorter. It can cause problems too, so I know how you feel!!

You are gonna look GORGEOUS, lady!!! No worries!

I'm not sure the What Not to Wear thing is just for NYC- when I read the post it didn't say so (I didn't look at the link though)...check it out!!!!!!!!

It's better to make the changes now then later. You have to trust that you will find the right dress, and it will find you. Cheer up, things can always be worst.
