Had my first fitting today and bawled my eyes out when I got home.......

I HATE my dress.......It doesn't suit my body type AT ALL......... It looks HORRIBLE on me and makes my short torso even shorter........this is the first time that I saw my dress on in a full length mirror in my size.........

My seamstress told me that this style isn't good for my body type.(short torso).........

My MOH and I are going out tonight to find another dress for me.........I can't believe this

I'm so sorry that you had to go through this.

I'm happy that you found a new dress that you like.

Yep, things happen for a reason. If you didn't find one, I would even offer mine to you after my wedding next month. But I'm sure you'd want a new one.

Thanks EVERYONE for all your kind words and encouragement.........it really means a lot.........

My MOH and I went out tonight to Davids Bridal to try on some dresses and I did find one that I really liked. It was an Oleg dress. Totally opposite of the style my original gown was, but it still fit nice. Pictures are in my album, let me know what you think...........

Now I just have to figure out where to sell my Jim Hjelm gown.........

That's my dress!!! We're twins! So of course, I love it!

congrats on finding a new dress! a few months before my wedding i realized i HATED my gown so i also bought an oleg cassini from david's bridal. i LOVED it and it was the best decision i made. i don't know what i was thinking with my original dress

i love the new dress so much more on you...it really suits you!

I hate my dress too. Are you within the WHAT NOT TO WEAR wedding window?

I hope you like it more once it's fit to your body

is there anything they can add or do to the gown to make it a better fit for you? I'm having lace added and a brooch sewn onto mine...

-update- sorry I should read it all before I comment. I just looked in your album. I like both gowns, but you have to be comfortable.
